#The short version

I’m Biddy Sheehan, the maker behind SheeHandMakes. I’ve always loved making things.

I’ve knitted, sewn, quilted, grown, spun, cooked, always creating something.

After leaving my 22-year career as a midwife (utterly spent) I decided to do what I love most.

I sell at markets I attend in the South Island of New Zealand. If you follow me on Instagram you will be able to see what I’ve been making. I love working with hand woven cloth from Scotland and can’t wait to make a trip there in 2027!
